Instructions |
To see or hear someone on webcam look under "users in lobby" and click on a nickname
that has a webcam icon next to it.
To go to a different room click the room name under "rooms" to join.
Rooms with locks are private and require passwords.
Only VIP users can create and host their own private rooms.
No nudity is allowed in the lobby.

/ignore nickname
Type /ignore and a nickname to ignore that person. |
/msg nickname
Type /msg and nickname your message send that person. |
/del hosted room
Type /del in your room you only delete your created room. |

/quit or /exit - quit. |
/help
Type /help to get a list of all commands. |

Common Problems |
|
When I try to view my own video or someone webcam is not detected. |
|
1. Are you using another videoconferencing application at the same time that is
controlling your webcam? Please quit that application. |
|
2. Change your desktop property settings from 16 to 32 bit. Desktop/right click/properties/settings
and change to 32 bit. Use the program that came with your webcam to set its RGB
settings to the highest allowable level. |

3. Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and upgrade your DirectX drivers. |
|
4.Turn up the virtual memory on your computer. Go to Start/Control Panel/Performance
and Maintenance/System/Advanced/Settings/Performance/Advanced/Virtual Memory/Change
then add more virtual memory to its maximum size. |

5. Go to Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and look for any strange codecs
there that could be spyware or adware. For example "Nimo Codec Pack" and "Ace Mega
Codec Pack" can cause your video window to be black and not work properly with video
chat. |

video chat will not install on my computer. |

video chat requires either Windows 2000, Windows 2003 server, Windows XP, or Windows
Vista. video chat will not run on Mac OS X, Windows 95, 98, or ME. |

Everyone I look at has slow video and people have trouble seeing me too. |

video chat works best with a DSL/Cable broadband Internet connection. Broadband
users get close to TV quality. If you are on a slow modem connection you might have
trouble seeing high-quality fast video. Unfortunately only so much video and audio
data can be sent through a telephone line, but we have optimized video chat where
it works with modem and broadband users. |

Does it cost me per minute to video and audio chat with seslichat? |

No. seslichat uses the Internet to send audio and video over your existing Internet
connection. |
